About the Role
The Finance Intern analyzes revenue, expenses and overhead and provides reports under the direction of the FP&A director. Work must be performed timely and accurately, always preserving accuracy, confidentiality and security of information.
Essential Function / Duties
- Provide financial and analytical support by compiling data from accounting into reports for analysis by company management
- Preparation of supplemental data and supporting schedules for monthly financial reporting
- Research and resolve business department discrepancies
- Prepare and update planning and forecast models for review
- Perform research and analysis on economic indicators that drive the business
- Other duties and analysis as directed by the supervisor

Work Schedule / Supervision
Position: Temporary Part-time Internship; 3-months from start date
Position Status: Non-exempt: with compensation; without notice
Recommended Education / Experience
- Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include finance, business administration, or similar.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Experience in accounting; knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in MS Office
