About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for collecting payments for services and goods that are sold to our customers, with a focus on customer satisfaction and administration.
Essential Function / Duties
- Process accounts receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers
- Monitor and collect accounts receivables by contacting customers via telephone, email and mail.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and customer service to resolve and issues related to accounts receivable.
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for accounts receivable and providing detailed updated on all delinquent accounts.

Work Schedule / Supervision
Position: Full-time = 40 hours per week; regular hours, infrequent travel
Position Status: Non-Exempt Status: with compensation; without notice
Recommended Education / Experience
- High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting or Business or Accounting preferred
- Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communications
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Work Environment
May require the use of personal protective equipment for various tasks; sitting/standing for long periods of time; computer station work. Other factors are warehouse and production floor environment and working around potentially hazardous machinery.
